Hello Dean, Sadly I didn't make the Sheila Hancock JAM - I wasn't too well. Russell Kane pulled out at the 11th hour too and Marcus was a last minute replacement.The Jenny and Julian edition just broadcast was recorded at the Drill Hall which has been taken over by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. It was a good show.
Jenny tore her dress and jokingly griped about it. When she later complained about not having a hankie a woman in the front row got up and gave Jenny hers.I don't know if Tilusha kept Richard's remark about his 'little goolies' in the final edit. He's a nice guy and the audience warmed to him. Strange not to have Tony for a while.
Am hard at work on the tome - all those visits to the British Library, the Beeb archives and listening to the recordings have paid off. For all those I am eternally grateful to you. Please send me an email so we can talk about it.
