Hello Dean and all you J.A.M. fans. Talking as a long term J.A.M. fan I think Tilusha and co have done a brilliant job of adapting the radio format. I was at the first show and the one with Gyles and Miles. The obvious love that poured forth from the audience to Nicholas was so sincere and I know he was very moved. No-one more than he was so concerned that some well meaning producer might dabble in the successful radio format to put their oar in. But his worries were needless. Just A Minute is in safe hands on tv. I'm glad that there's been some first-timers - JAson Manford, Russell Tovey and Ruth Jones from Gavin and Stacey. She has such a naturally warm personality and I'm glad the producers took her on for J.A.M. It was obvious that they would draw from well known tv personalities to be guests.
Just A Minute has such a wealth of regular guests - Gyles Brandreth, Jenny Eclair, Liza Tarbuck, Josie Lawrence, Ross Noble, MArcus Brigstocke, Pam Ayres, Tony Hawks, Sue Perkins,Sheila Hancock, Kit Hesketh Harvey,Graham Norton, Julian Clary, Stephen Fry to name but a few - What other comedy show can boast a group as talented as that from which to draw.
I hope that Just A Minute continues on tv aswell as radio because it's success on t.v. is obvious.
If the schedule is the same as when I went to see Graham's tv show filmed in 2010 Have I Got news for you was being filmed at the same time in the same building. ( while I like Graham I Really wanted to see Have I got news for you.
